Holy One, we struggle to forgive - beginning with ourselves. Perhaps all that we are capable of is to open our hands to you without fear, so that you who love us so completely and deeply can blow away our sins. Then all of life is reordered and we realize that "to pray is to live." May this Lent be a time of gently unclenching our hands and opening ourselves to your love. In Jesus' name. Amen.
